Skyreach Tacticians

Skyreach Tacticians is a grid-based strategy game set on a cluster of floating islands, and it's all about positioning. You move a small squad across tiles, exploit height and flanking, and plan two turns ahead because a single bad move loses a unit for good in the harder modes.

It eases you in with a clear tutorial campaign, then opens up into puzzle-like skirmishes that genuinely made us stop and think. The unit variety is good without being overwhelming — maybe a dozen types, each with an obvious role. Touch controls are tidy: tap a unit, see its range, tap the destination.

The presentation is minimal, which is both a strength and a weakness. It runs smooth on anything and never clutters the screen, but the art won't wow anyone. For a brain-first strategy fix on a phone, it's an easy recommendation.
